Harrow

The harrow was a tool that helped make small rows allowing seeds to be placed in the small rows. Its iron or wooden teeth also allowed for the soil to be turned over during the plowing months. This tool was often pulled behind a horse or ox.

Scythe

The scythe was a tool used to cut crops lower to the ground while having more of a distance. This aloud the farmer to not have to break their back while harvesting crops all day.

Sickle

The sickle is a tool that farmers in the Medieval times used to cut corn crops and tall grass. It's short handle aloud the farmer to cut with a swift motion, allowing the farmer have a quick and accurate slice.

Bale Mover

A bale mover is a common farming machine used for hay hauling. This machine can pick up and transport hay bales across the farm. This device is usually attached to a tractor and is significant to modern day farming.

Fertilizer Spreader

The fertilizer spreader is a device used to spread seeds, pest-killer, grass, fertilizer food, and other types of seeds. This device is commonly known to be pulled on the back of a tractor. This is a great tool for evenly spreading grass or fertilizer food seeds.

Combine Harvester

A farm contains hundreds of rows of corn that need to be harvested. In the Medieval times, farmers harvested crops by hand but as technology became more advanced, modern society has recently adopted the Combine Harvester. This device is used to harvest and store large amounts of corn much easier then harvesting corn fields by hand. 

Seed Planter

A modern day seed planter is a device used to quickly plant large amount of seeds evenly over larger quantities of farming land. This device can be pulled by a tractor and is a very common and useful tool used in today's farming industries.

Tractor

The tractor is one of the most useful and efficient machines used in modern day farming. This machine can pull seed planters, plows, trailers, wagons and many more devices that help the farm run smoothly.
